Megan Fox made 'final' decision over Machine Gun Kelly relationship for one reason

Megan Fox and fiancé MGK left fans shocked when it emerged that they had split just weeks after announcing they were expecting their first child together

Megan Fox has made a huge decision surrounding her split from Machine Gun Kelly.

The Transformers star, 38, and singer 34-year-old MGK recently called time on their relationship after five years, just weeks after announcing Megan's pregnancy. Sources claim that they decided to part ways having spent Thanksgiving together in Vail, Colorado. Their decision to split comes just weeks after it was revealed that Megan is due to have the pair's baby in just a matter of months.

But while they've had a rocky romance, including a previous split, it appears that the Jennifer's Body star has made the final decision once and for all. Sources claim that Megan had become increasingly fed up with MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker and his behaviour.

"She's left him before, but this time it seems final," a source claimed. They went on to say that Megan's nearest and dearest are on hand to support her, having started to "dislike" the GFY hitmaker in recent years. It's claimed that Megan had become increasingly annoyed throughout their "high-school relationship".

They went on to tell the Daily Mail: "The way they operate is drama, it's like a never-ending high school relationship. For weeks and months, everything was fine but when they get into fights, it is all or nothing. It took a turn for the worst during Thanksgiving." They added that Colson had been "trying to get back on track with her" following their decision to split.

Megan, who shares three children with her former husband had become "done" with MGK's behaviour and "the way he treated her". They went on to suggest that when Megan fell pregnant with their first child, the musician had assumed that his now ex-fiancée would stay with him.

The former couple have attracted much attention over their relationship at times in the few years since the pair first got together in 2020. They have often shared extreme offerings of PDA, or stepped out in very revealing outfits. The actress took to Instagram last month to share an exciting development in her romance with the rapper, revealing she's expecting by posting a photo of herself holding her baby bump. She brought more joy to her followers by showing an image of a positive pregnancy test, captioning the heartfelt post: "Nothing is ever really lost. Welcome back," as she tagged MGK in the post.

Megan and MGK announced their engagement two years after they started dating. The ring was alleged to have been said to have bee a thorn-shaped ring that was designed to hurt if Megan ever took it off. This was because "love is pain", according to Kelly. However, they experienced their share of ups and downs in the relationship, with there having been split rumours on several occasions over the years. They were even said to have called off their engagement.
