Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are doing what they can to help out their Los Angeles community. Even if it means offering up their home.
As Perezcious readers know, wildfires have spread through the greater LA area this week, engulfing entire neighborhoods and destroying hundreds of homes.
While the royals are safe in Montecito, about 80 miles away from the fires, they have opened up their home to friends who were forced to evacuate, according to Us Weekly sources on Friday. It’s unclear who is staying with them, but thousands have been impacted by this crisis — and that includes dozens of celebs Harry and Meghan might know.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have also donated clothing, children’s items, and other essential items to those affected by fires. Furthermore, they are assisting World Central Kitchen, founded by chef José Andrés, with relief efforts. They provide meals to those in need around the world. Archewell Foundation has been a longtime partner of the organization, so this makes perfect sense!
The couple has also set up a page on their website with information about resources and other orgs working to provide relief for victims and first responders. See HERE.
Love to see Harry and Meg doing their part to help out, especially since this is in their backyard. They know what it’s like to need support, such as when Tyler Perry allowed them to stay on his property as they first moved to the state. Now, they have the chance to give back, and they are.
