Whitney Cummings Patrols LA With Swords To Fight Off Potential Arsonists During Fires!

Yeah, you read that correctly. And no, we have no idea, either.

Whitney Cummings has a plan to take on the LA wildfires head-on — by confronting potential arsonists herself. On Instagram Thursday, the actress took to her Stories to share the story about an arsonist who was caught trying to start more fires near her neighborhood. We heard about this, too — apparently someone trying to take advantage of the chaos? Thinking no one would realize it wasn’t part of the natural disaster? Disgusting!

Well, Whitney wants to make sure that doesn’t happen again!

In her videos, the comedian explains how she and her boyfriend are taking to the streets with SWORDS to hunt down potential threats:

“What’s the plan if we find one? … That’s why we got swords.”

Well, that’s a wild plan of action! She went on to say if they were to find a potential arsonist, they’d “have a duel”. OK, the swords are clearly wooden, but hey, in combat it’s the thought that counts, right?

In a second video, she explains why she and her man chose to go toward trailheads wielding swords:

“Now, the key to defeating someone who is doing something so violent and so sickening that … there’s really not much you can do besides kill them, if that’s not an option, then the second best option is to come off so crazy that they just are stunned. And just rethink their entire plan.”

Uh…

Well, we’re sure if Whitney ran at you with a wooden sword in the middle of the night you’d definitely think she was crazier than you! Wow.
