Michael Rubin's infamous annual White Party has been canceled after Diddy's similar bashes ruined the theme, The U.S. Sun can exclusively report.
An insider with ties to the annual A-list summer soiree claimed the Fanatics businessman decided to pull the plug on the big event.
"Michael and his people thought the White Party couldn’t get any bigger than it already is, and they wanted to end it on a high note," the insider told The U.S. Sun. "Plus, they are now looking to focus more on charitable events."
"It is the biggest celebrity party of the year, so it's a big deal they're ending it, but they also wanted to end it before it got corny.
"It was also getting completely out of control with people trying to snag an invite."
DIDDY DID IT
Apparently, those weren't the only reasons Michael opted to stop hosting the hottest celebrity function of the summer.
"The other thing to think about is how the Diddy White Parties have given the theme such a bad stigma after everything that came out this past year," the insider added.
Michael has thrown a White Party every year at his home since 2021.
He purchased the Bridgehampton party palace in 2020.
But a second source familiar with the parties said: "There was never going to be a party this summer."
"The plan has always been to rotate the Reform charity event and his summer party so there aren’t two in the same year."
That source claimed the first Reform Alliance fundraiser raised more than $24 million in 2023 and is slated to return in September of this year.
"Plus, with Fanatics Fest now moving to June this year, that party was never on the schedule for 2025," the source added.
The source claimed it was always the plan to cancel the White Party, long before accusations around Diddy's past parties tainted the theme.
COVETED INVITE
The billionaire businessman started throwing his White Party in the Hamptons on July 4th, 2021.
Even the invites for the coveted event were extra luxurious and over the top.
In 2024, the famous White Party invites were handmade by Michael's good friend, the renowned artist George Condo, per Page Six.
The stunning 300-person guest list received custom black-and-white invites.
The larger celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Tom Brady received personalized invites, hand-colored by the artist.
The invites were individually numbered, signed, and reportedly worth $35,000.
At the 2023 bash, Kim and Tom were even reported to be "flirting" and dancing together.
Kim also attended in 2024, alongside sister Khloe.
SINISTER CLAIMS
Diddy's annual White Party, which ended in 2009, have certainly tarnished the theme.
Diddy has become infamous for two types of parties, his elite, celeb-packed, White Parties and his darker "freak-offs."
According to a lawsuit cited by the New York Times, the music mogul's White Party faced similar allegations of drugs and sex trade as his "freak-off" parties.
In a lawsuit filed in July of 2024 by Adria English, who worked for Diddy at several of his White Parties, she said she was given drugs and ecstasy-laced liquor and was told to have sex with guests.
She called herself a "sexual pawn" in the suit.
A lawyer for the disgraced rapped denied that he had ever “sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone.”
The rap mogul's team previously denied any wrongdoing at his storied White Parties and released a statement saying: “It’s disappointing to see the media and social commentators twist these cultural moments into something they were not.
“Shaming celebrities who attended, taking video clips and photos out of context, and trying to link these events to false allegations is simply untrue.”
Meanwhile, Diddy has been charged in a three-count indictment for racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution.
He has pleaded not guilty, and remains jailed in New York awaiting trial.
