Naya Rivera's Ex Ryan Dorsey Gets Emotional On Her Birthday -- Read His Poem About Time Not Healing His Grief

Ryan Dorsey is taking time to remember Naya Rivera on what would’ve been her 38th birthday.

On Instagram Sunday, the Glee star’s ex took to his feed to share an old snap of the two of them together on the red carpet. In the caption, he penned an emotional message to his former lover in the form of a poem. The 41-year-old wrote:

“ Happy Heavenly Birthday
5 birthdays since you’ve been gone.
Thoughts everyday about how it went wrong.
The memories attached to places,
Still see all the things, see all our faces.
Visions of happiness and sadness,
15 years flash by when I hear a certain song.“

Aww… Five birthdays since… That’s hard to fathom.

Ryan went on to talk about how time isn’t healing the grief he’s feeling, but he’s still “doing the best” he can for their son Josey Dorsey:

“I shake my head often still in disbelief,
They say time heals all, but all is not grief.
Doing the best I can for our JoJo Binx,
As the time goes by, Im often alone and sit and think.
I think more of our better times,
Like this picture from the past, but it still f**king stings.”

Wrapping up the heartbreaking post, he reminded everyone to “be kind” to their loved ones:

“So give Emmy and Lucy one good rub,
And if you’re reading this,
Be kind to the one’s you love,
You’ll never know when you give your last hug.”
