Netflix‘s Love Is Blind will be back with season eight on Valentine’s Day. The streamer also renewed the series through season 10, they announced Wednesday.
Season eight’s release will coincide with the show’s fifth anniversary, after the reality dating series became an early pandemic hit of 2020. The eighth installment will feature an all-new group of singles from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Vanessa and Nick Lachey will return as hosts.
In conjunction with the half-decade milestone, Netflix released a commemorative “Five Years of Fandom” video which features a montage of the show’s best moments.
“Look back at the moments, the memes and the love stories that made you a fan of Love is Blind,” a show description reads.
This season, “the singles form deep and immediate connections, setting the stage for an unexpected journey full of twists, turns, and shocking revelations that will test each relationship well after the participants leave the pods for the real world,” per Netflix.
The new season comes after the conclusion of Netflix’s seventh installment last fall; season eight will feature 12 hour-long episodes. The streamer did not specify a release schedule for seasons nine and 10.
This is not the first time Netflix has renewed their hit reality show in season multiples — most recently, the streamer ordered two seasons at once in 2023.
Creator Chris Coelen continues as the show’s executive producer, alongside Ally Simpson, Brent Gauches, Eric Detwiler and Brian Smith. Kinetic Content produces.
