Newly-single TV star 'tried to hook up with Kevin Costner', claims co-star

Kyle Richards allegedly tried hooking up with Kevin Costner, according to her co-star Sutton Stracke. The RHOBH cast member has been single since she split from ex-husband, Mauricio Umansky.

As The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills launches its premiere new season episode, major tea has been spilled. Kyle Richards has apparently tried to hook up with an A-lister, her friend claims.

Kyle Richards has “tried hooking up with Kevin Costner,” according to her co-star Sutton Stracke. The alleged moment happened in Aspen, where Richards owns a vacation home.

Sutton said on the RHOBH Aftershow: “Kyle and I have this conversation, she was in Aspen and Kevin Costner was there. And she was, like, trying to hook up with Kevin Costner.

Garcelle Beauvais then told Stracke, “Well, you want Kevin Costner.” Stracke admitted to Beauvais, “I know,” before expanding on her claim regarding Richards, saying “it’s not all about Morgan [Wade].”

‘Morgan is not the be all and end all’

In the months following Kyle and Mauricio Umansky‘s split, she developed a close-knit friendship with singer, Morgan Wade. Rumors the two were romantically linked swirled, but Richards denied claims.

“This is what I’m saying, I don’t think that Morgan’s the end all, be all because she [Richards] really wants … it’s not all about Morgan, there’s some Kevin Costner mixed in there,” Stracke said.

Costner, 69, has close ties to Aspen after purchasing a 160-acre ranch there in 2000, according to Business Insider, which he rents out. The actor also spent the holiday season in Aspen in 2023.
