Jimmy Kimmel said President Donald Trump is still pushing nonsense about California’s water supply after the state battled a series of devastating wildfires in the Los Angeles area.
Kimmel rolled footage of Trump claiming that California has a secret supply of water, but won’t use it to fight fires.
The president said:
“Just so you know: They have a valve, and it turns, like think of a sink but multiply it times many thousands of times, the size of it, it’s massive. And you turn it back toward Los Angeles. Why aren’t they doing it?”
“Such a good question,” Kimmel shot back. “How did we forget about our giant super-sink?”
Then, the late night host offered a fact-check.
“Just so you know, we do not have a valve like a sink in Los Angeles that we can turn to shut the fires off,” Kimmel said. “That makes no sense to anyone, including him, but nobody says anything, no one corrects him.”
And that wasn’t the only weird claim Trump made about water.
