A superstar British DJ has revealed they won't release any more music after losing their passion.
Fatboy Slim last released a studio album 20 years ago and fans have been eagerly awaiting new records since. The DJ, whose hits include Praise You, The Rockafeller Skank and Right Here, Right Now, has admitted fans shouldn't hope for anymore releases. Fatboy Slim - aka 61-year-old dance music icon Norman Cook - confessed he can't make music unless he is "absolutely passionate about it".
He revealed the passion has since gone for him, despite his huge success and touring schedule. Fatboy Slim's last album Palookaville was released in 2004 and marked his fourth album. Since then, he has continued touring his DJ sets across the world and believes that's where his music career will stay.
Speaking about needing passion that "drives you from the moment you wake up in the morning," he told the Sun: “I just don’t seem to feel like that any more. I feel like that about DJing and about putting on things like this, but I’ve kind of lost my passion for making music."
Cook admitted he beat himself up about it for five years but came to the realisation fans love his DJing and he enjoys that more. He added: “I’m hoping that one day the passion will come back.” His son Woody Cook, who he shares with ex Zoe Ball, is also hoping to follow in his DJ footsteps.

Woody rarely shares insights into his personal life with his parents, but admitted that while as a teenager at parties, other teens often attempted to tease him due to his dad's music.
Speaking to the Mirror, Woody explained: "No one, when I was a kid pretty much cared. It was only when I got a bit older, I mean, it started really at house parties when I was like 17. There was one time when we were all trying to sleep and there was these random people I didn't know and they kept yelling 'Alright Fatboy Son, keep it down!' and some other stuff and they were like, 'Oh should I Praise You?'
"I couldn't even clap back, usually I'd just shout stuff back at them but it was just kind of sad because I was just sat there and couldn't talk, I was drunk. I was slowly getting these heckles, to be fair, most of the time it's funny. This weekend, Woody shared the sad news that Norman's mum has died.
Woody shared the tragic news in a heartbreaking post on Instagram. He wrote: "Ups and downs of the year. My Granny Ros passed away on Christmas Day, She was an amazing woman and ‘was ready to start her next life.’ That kind of optimism and mentality really inspires me. Losing two Grandparents this year has really made me grow and made me focus a-lot more on family.
"The ups: i’m having a blast in New York, was homesick on my Birthday and Christmas but i’ve been working really hard on music and it’s really paying off. My friends over here are so lovely and feel like family. Life always goes on x New year’s resolution is to make every second count… Safe travels Ros and thank you for everything"
