Sofia Vergara was caught jokingly heckling fellow actress Jodie Foster during the 2025 Golden Globes.
When Foster took to the stage to accept the award for Best Performance by a Female Actor in Television for True Detective: Night Country, Vergara, who was up for the same award, shouted out to her.
The Modern Family star had just missed out on her fifth straight Golden Globe and exclaimed, "No! No! Not again!"

"I know," Foster remarked to her fellow actress from the stage, motioning to her. Vergara shouted, "Give me one!"
Sensing the humour of the situation, Foster gave Vergara a shoutout in her acceptance speech.
"The greatest thing about being this age and being in this time is having a community of all these people, especially you, Sofia," she said.
Foster also made an ultra-rare comment about her wife, Alexandra Hedison, and her kids.

"I just want to thank my family," she said.
"Because Kit, my scientist son, and Charlie, my actor son who's starting his career, hopefully, you understand the joy, such joy, that comes from doing really hard, meaningful, good work.
"So, my boys, I love you, and this, of course, is for you. And the love of my life, Alex, thank you forever."
It isn't the first time these A-listers have engaged in some healthy rivalry; last year, Vergara lost her Griselda Emmy nomination to Foster.

"Wow. Griselda was my first dramatic role ever, and it took us 15 years to bring her to life. I'm incredibly grateful to everyone who was a part of this series," she added.
Vergara also told CBS News: "When I thought of Griselda, I wanted her to be like Tony Soprano. I wanted her to be a character that people didn't hate, even though it was a bad guy."
