First the FBI, then the cops, and now the military?! Ben Affleck‘s home has been a hot spot for law enforcement this week!
The actor was spotted returning home to his Brentwood, California home on Thursday where there was a massive sand-colored humvee or, more specifically, a joint light tactical military vehicle, parked outside. Whoa!

No, he isn’t doing a movie with Arnold Schwarzenegger, this was a legit military vehicle. A man in uniform could be seen standing outside. Ben seemed unfazed as he drove past without speaking to anyone this time, according to TMZ. See (below):
According to a Page Six source on Friday, the vehicle belongs to the National Guard, who have been sent to Cali amid ongoing wildfires and crime, such as looting. But why is all this activity happening right outside Ben’s pad?? It turns out he’s just in an opportune spot, the source shared:
“They are parked outside every evacuation point not allowing anyone through and his house is at the border of — but outside — one of the points. It has nothing to do with Ben.”
A spokesperson for the National Guard also told the outlet that they have thousands of service members in El Lay right now helping to support the wildfire response and protect local communities from looting. To do this, some checkpoints have been set up, such as this one.
We’re not surprised this has nothing to do with Ben at this point, but wow. It’s busy in his neighborhood right now! But, hey, at least his home is safe from fires and now possible crime, too!
