She is then given the tragic news that her husband Jamie has been lost at sea and presumed dead, leaving her utterly heartbroken.
To make matters worse, Claire's spy work is uncovered, which makes Lord John Grey offer her a proposal to protect her, leaving all of our jaws on the floor.
