Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs could face an avalanche of civil lawsuits, with claims against the music mogul potentially reaching 300, a lawyer representing alleged victims has said.
Prominent US attorney Tony Buzbee has told how his team has been inundated with calls - around 3,000 - since he invited potential claimants to come forward in October.
So far, the lawyer has filed 20 lawsuits on behalf of men and women accusing Combs of sexual assault and other misconduct.

However, he predicts “realistically” the total will be between “100 and 150”, with others unable to proceed due to expired time limits for claims in certain states.
Combs has denied all allegations, dismissing them as “sickening” and accusing his accusers of chasing a “quick payday.”
His lawyers have described the growing number of lawsuits as part of a “reckless media circus” citing Buzbee’s creation of a toll-free tip line as a publicity stunt.
In a statement, the rapper’s attorney Erica Wolff said: “In court, the truth will prevail. Mr Combs never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone - man or woman, adult or minor.”
Meanwhile, the 55-year-old is also facing criminal charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, which he vehemently denies, and is being held in Manhattan’s Metropolitan Detention Centre ahead of his trial in May.
Buzbee is known for taking on high-profile cases.
The New York Times describes him as “a big, mean, ambitious, tenacious, fire-breathing Texas trial lawyer,” and he’s no stranger to controversy.
He previously won a landmark settlement against BP after a Texas City refinery explosion and helped dozens of women reach settlements in sexual misconduct cases against NFL star Deshaun Watson.
His involvement in the Diddy cases began last year when his co-counsel Andrew Van Arsdale, known for representing victims in the Boy Scouts of America sexual abuse scandal, asked for help.
Buzbee issued an Instagram call for potential victims, which he says sparked 3,000 responses in just ten days.
Now, with dozens of cases in the works, Buzbee’s team is preparing for what could be one of the largest legal battles in the entertainment industry’s history.
Combs’ legal team has vowed to fight back, insisting the truth will clear his name.
