P Diddy is being accused of "luring" a woman to one of his notorious parties on a radio show -before she alleges she was sexually assaulted.
Former rapper P Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, is already in prison about to face trial on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. However, a slew of other allegations have been made against him by over 300 victims as they each come forward with their own stories.
Now, in the latest lawsuit being filed against the star, a woman has accused Combs of luring her to a party after finding her through a radio contest nearly twenty years ago. After she was taken to the party, she alleges she was drugged and and then sexually assaulted.
But says she does not know who carried out the attack and that she does not recall seeing P Diddy. And the rapper who is currently on remand hit back with a lengthy statement denying her claims which he says are 'pure fiction'.
Latroya Grayson, who is filing the claims, alleges that Combs was responsible for sexual assault against her after she had won a contest on the radio in 2006 to attend one his "legendary" parties, the Independent reports. The case states that the trip was fully paid for and saw her jet off from Oklahoma to New York City for the event.
In the claim, Latroya - who now works as an Uber driver - says that she and her sibling had entered the competition, and added that her sibling won - meaning both could be flown out to New York for the exclusive event. However, after getting to the glamorous venue, only Latroya was let in - and only found out later that her sibling was not allowed in.
During the event, Latroya alleges that there had been no bar at the space but rather waitresses who gave "premade drinks" to revellers. The woman says she had less than two of the drinks before she started to feel unwell and tried to use the toilet.
According to TMZ, Grayson says she has no recollection of the rest of the night - 'instead waking up at Saint Vincent's Medical Center. When she woke up, she says she had a ripped shirt, no underwear, and most of her money was gone'.
TMZ reports that Grayson remembers nothing about the assault she says happened and adds "so, she can't say with certainty who allegedly raped her - and, she never mentions actually seeing or speaking with Diddy at the event".
Grayson added that she noticed she was no longer wearing her underwear or her shoes, her shirt had been torn and all but $20 of her money had been stolen. She now believes that she had been drugged, assaulted and robbed during the party.
When she returned to Oklahoma, she allegedly received a phone call from an anonymous woman, who threatened her and urged her to avoid pursuing legal action, as she would be "just wasting her time" because of Diddy's celebrity status. Latroya's lawsuit includes photos of her at the party, together with the records from the hospital following her time at the party.
Latroya says she went into a "tailspin of anxiety and depression", causing her to struggle with romantic relationships, as well as disrupting her ability to work. The lawsuit ends by claiming that Combs has "altered the trajectory of her life".
Her case now forms another of many claims being made against the rapper after he was arrested on September 16 for his alleged role in a sex trafficking ring. Combs has strongly denied all allegations made against him, with the trial set to go to court next month.
Diddy's attorneys says the rapper denied the claims and told TMZ: "Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone or engaged in sex trafficking. Ms. Grayson admits she has no memory of the events alleged in her complaint, does not know who was supposedly involved, and has never spoken to Mr. Combs. Her allegations against him are pure fiction. As we’ve said before, Mr. Combs cannot respond to every baseless lawsuit and lawyer-driven money grab. He has faith in the judicial process, in which fact will be separated from opportunistic fabrications like these."
