Paris Jackson was spotted safe and sound amidst the chaos of the Los Angeles fires. The daughter of Michael Jackson and Debbie Rowe was photographed grabbing some lunch with her fiancé Justin Long.
The pair were spotted grabbing lunch in Montecito, an area located in Santa Barbara County. They were at the restaurant Merci, a patisserie known for their delicious pastries.
Jackson and Long appeared to wear matching outfits, with both opting for Earth-toned colors. Jackson wore a brown sweater, green and baggy cargo pants, and some brown boots. She paired the look with a hat.
Long wore a brown shirt, blue shorts, and sneakers. He had his long hair tied in a high bun.
The pair were photographed sitting on one of the outside tables of the restaurant and enjoying their lunch. They were also photographed hugging as they got ready to leave the restaurant.
Jackson and Long shared news of their engagement in December, sharing photos of the special moment when Long dropped down on one knee. She revealed the news on Long's birthday, writing, "Happy birthday my sweet blue. Doing life with you these last years has been an indescribable whirlwind, and I couldn't dream of anyone more perfect for me to do it all with. Thank you for letting me be yours. I love you."
Jackson's response to the LA fires
Like many residents of California and the world, Jackson has been keeping track of the situation in Los Angeles County, which is currently battling various fires.
Earlier today, Jackson shared an Instagram reel posted by Butch Walker, a musician who's lost two homes due to California fires on separate occasions. The reel explained that while he was off from social media, he'd returned to share some of the things he'd learned with his followers, sending a message to those affected by the loss of their homes.
"You cannot just go in and wipe everything down with a wet rag," said Walker when referring to the homes that were spared by the fires but were located in an area that was heavily affected by the flames.
