Teresa Giudice said her ex-husband Joe Giudice “wasn’t my guy,” and she shared how her current husband Luis Ruelas is different.

Speaking with Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star also revealed two past looks she now regrets.

“When I wore that purple dress with my three daughters when they were all in purple, and [I had a] headband in my hair,” said Teresa, referring to a violet satin dress she donned for a screening party of season two.

Her hair was styled up and made large. Though she didn’t defend the hairdo, she’s on good terms with the woman who styled it.

“I’m still friends with her. I went to high school with her. I’m like, ‘What were you thinking when you did my hair like that?’” Teresa laughed. “She’s like, ‘I don’t know!’ The other day I said to her, I’m like, ‘What were you thinking?’”

According to Teresa, she’s learned to “embrace” her fashion blunders as fond memories.

She also pointed out an outfit with feathered shoulders during her season four confessional in 2012. At the time, her hair was puffed out elaborately.

“Remember one of my interview looks had feathers [on my shoulders]? … I was trying to do my hair. I didn’t like it, and I was like, ‘Just leave it like that,’” Teresa recalled. “And now if you look at it, it’s like, ‘Oh my God!’”

Moving on to her first marriage, Teresa divorced Joe in 2020 after they both had finished their time in prison. The former couple pleaded guilty to fraud, and Joe was later deported back to Italy, where he was born. In 2022, Teresa married Luis.

In an interview for the Undressed With Pol’ and Patrik podcast, Teresa claimed Joe was “never her person.”

“My ex was a Gemini, no bueno,” said Teresa, via OK! Magazine. “I’m a Taurus.”

Teresa said Luis is also a Taurus.

“We get along great,” the star explained. “I mean, really like, we like the same things. Me and my ex, we didn’t like the same things. And so I like it better. Like, I think you should like the same things. You know how they say opposites attract?”

Teresa also shared that she and Luis are “always together,” unlike her marriage with Joe.

“[Luis is] so attentive to me,” she explained. “Like my ex was not attentive at all. He was just very old school. Listen, he was a good, I mean, looking back now, Joe was easy, but he just wasn’t my guy.”

Plus, Teresa said Joe “f**ked up royally.”

“He got me involved in his business dealings,” she said, alluding to their past legal issues. “You know, I signed a closing, one home, one home, one home, guys, one home. Meanwhile, he had a partner with so many properties and nothing happened to his partner. But because I was on TV, I guess they made an example out of me and Joe, obviously.”

Teresa said she had “no criminal intent,” but she was forced to “go away,” and this “devastated” her. She warned each Housewife on the network to “make sure” she’s “on top” of her husband’s “s**t.”

Following Teresa’s comments, TMZ caught up with Joe and asked him what he thought.

Not surprisingly, Joe, who gets along greatly with both Teresa and Luis, says he had no issue with Teresa’s comments, agreeing that she’s a better fit with Luis.

Joe went on to admit that he was very “old school” during his marriage to Teresa, saying that he spent more time with Teresa’s late dad, Giacinto Gorga, than he did with her. He also acknowledged that their prison stints played a major role in the demise of their marriage.
