Piers Morgan rages as Home Alone 'pigeon lady' comparison returns at family Xmas quiz

In a light-hearted post on X, Piers Morgan made reference to the popular comparison between him and a famous Home Alone 2 character, which he denies playing to this day

Piers Morgan is unsurprisingly annoyed once again after comparisons between him and a famous Home Alone 2 character resurface at a family Christmas quiz.

The journalist and TV personality posted a photo of him holding an image comparing him to Brenda Fricker, who plays the iconic character of the "Pigeon Lady" in festive favourite film Home Alone.

This isn't the first time the two personalities have been put together due to their vivid alikeness. Back in 2020, Piers Morgan, the host of Good Morning Britain at the time, came under the spot light with claims suggesting that he was the 'Pigeon Lady' from Home Alone 2.

The 55-year-old was seemingly unamused that a side-by-side image of himself and the character from the iconic 1992 Christmas classic had done the rounds again. Shutting down the rumour mill, he fumed: "I'm not the bag lady from Home Alone 2".

Co-host Susanna Reid found the resurfaced image rather amusing and lead the charge with probing her breakfast presenting partner. Adding fuel to the fire, she suggested that she had "proof" that Piers had stared in the film alongside Donald Trump.

Susanna decided to poke fun at Piers and brought up the theory that he could be the "Pigeon Lady" on the show which saw the entire studio erupt into fits of laughter. Susanna asked: "Can we just have a look at Home Alone 2? Because, frankly, it is the best picture. Because lots of people watch Home Alone 2 and wonder if this is you."

An annoyed Piers chirped back: "Why does this keep coming around?" Before he profusely added: "That is not me. I am not the bag lady in Home Alone 2."

In spite of his denials, Susanna prompted that had scanned through the GMB archives to uncover "proof" that Piers had once been covered in pigeons too. To which she exposed a 2018 episode of Piers on GMB where pigeons completely encompassed his body.

Fortunately for Piers, the Pigeon Lady, played by actress Brenda Fricker in the festive favourite, is actually kind and caring and later goes on to save MacMacaulay Culkin's character Kevin.
