Google pulled Wear OS 5 for the Pixel Watch and Pixel Watch 2 in September, but updates look set to resume, including for the Pixel Watch 3, today.

Verizon this morning detailed the November 2024 Pixel Watch updates: AW2A.241105.012.

With a release date set for the today (11/12/2024), the Pixel Watch 3 changelog lists:

  • Provided the most up to date Android security patches on your device.
  • Provided general performance and stability improvements.
  • Addressed the following issues:
    • A white Splash would appear when navigating to the watch face by pressing the Crown (rare).
    • Bluetooth® was failing due to a connection loss.
    • Old, completed calls were still displaying as active.

There was no October update for any Pixel Watch in light of the soft brick issue.

Meanwhile, the changelog for the Pixel Watch and Pixel Watch 2 confirms Wear OS 5, with last year’s device getting a fix for how “The watch face wouldn’t load on reboot.”

The main fix for the original device is: “Addressed a rare issue that caused a white Splash to appear when navigating to the watch face by pressing the Crown.”
