Poco X7 Series launched in India; Check price, specs, and more

Poco has rolled out the Poco X7 series in the Indian market today via an event held in Jaipur. The series includes two smartphones – Poco X7 Pro and Poco X7. Both smartphones have powerful specifications complemented by decent design. Starting with Poco X7 5G, the Poco branding is loud and can be seen at the bottom mid-section of the rear panel.

The camera module is placed at the top-mid section and consists of four cutouts, three for sensors and one for flash. Coming to the Pro variant, it obviously looks cleaner than the base variant. The handset gets a capsule-shaped camera island comprising two sensors.

The starting price of Poco X7 Pro is Rs 24,999 for 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The sale for the Pro variant will begin on January 14, 2025, via Flipkart. On the other hand, the starting price of Poco X7 is 19,999 for the 8GB RAM variant with 128GB internal storage. The first sale of the base variant will begin on January 17, 2025, at 12:00 noon, via Flipkart.

Poco X7 Series specifications and features

The Poco X7 5G brings a 6.67-inch AMOLED curved display coupled with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and 3000 nits of peak brightness. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra 4nm processor paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 internal storage. The device operates on the HyperOS based on the Android 14 operating system. The device brings IP66 + IP68 + IP69 certification for dust and water resistance.

In terms of optics, we get to see a 50MP primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and EIS and an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor. For taking selfie shots and attending video calls, the handset brings a 20MP front snapper. It houses a 5500mAh battery along with 45W Turbo Charge support. As claimed by the company, the smartphone can be charged from zero to 100% in 47 minutes.

Talking about Poco X7 Pro, it features a 6.73-inch AMOLED flat display with an Adaptive 120Hz refresh rate and 3200 nits of peak brightness. The device runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra 4nm processor paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 internal storage. The handset is based on the Android 15 operating system with HyperOS skin on top. This one also gets IP66 + IP68 + IP69 certification for water and dust resistance.

The Poco X7 Pro brings a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary shooter with OIS and EIS along with an 8MP ultra wide-angle shooter with 120-degree Field-Of-View. The handset offers a 20MP front sensor that will be able to produce decent selfies. We get to see a 6550mAh battery clubbed with 90W HyperCharge support. As claimed by the brand, the device can get up to 100% charged from zero in just 47 minutes. Poco has promised to provide three years or Android updates and 4 years of security patches for the Poco X7 Pro and the base variant.
