SiriusXM has struck a new three-year agreement with popular podcaster Mel Robbins.
The deal keeps global ad sales rights for The Mel Robbins Podcast exclusive to SiriusXM Media and newly gives the company the advertising rights to Robbins’ YouTube channel, which broadcasts episodes of her podcast. As part of the agreement, Robbins has also agreed to create a new weekly show that will be exclusive to SiriusXM subscribers and is set to launch in early 2025.
The Mel Robbins Podcast launched in 2022 and sees Robbins drawing on her personal experiences to offer listeners lessons on mindset, relationships, habits, health and life improvement. Episodes are released widely twice a week and Robbins also puts longer, uncut versions on her YouTube channel, which has close to three million subscribers. The show leads SiriusXM’s inspiration, mental health and life improvement category and tops the education and inspirational podcast charts globally.
Robbins is also an author, known for The 5 Second Rule and The High 5 Habit, and creator and host of the Audible series Reinvent Your Life. Her TEDx talk “How to Stop Screwing Yourself Over,” has garnered more than 33 million views.
“I am so thrilled to continue my relationship with SiriusXM,” Robbins said. “The impact this show is making in the lives of people around the world is incredible. It’s an honor to not only spend time with you, but to have you share the episodes with people you love. Continuing this collaboration with SiriusXM will help me make an even bigger difference in your life, and I can’t wait to spend more time with you.”
“Mel Robbins has inspired and motivated millions through her thoughtful and relatable advice, and we couldn’t be more excited to help her continue her journey,” said Scott Greenstein, president and chief content officer at SiriusXM. “With the launch of her new weekly show, she’ll have the opportunity to reach even more people in order to connect, learn, and transform their lives. Her impact is exceptional, and we can’t wait to see how many more lives she’ll change.”
