Princess Charlotte is 'calling the shots' with Prince William as she could be given new nickname

2 hours ago 3

Princess Charlotte may receive a new three-word nickname after reportedly calling the shots following Prince William's decision to shave his beard.

Discussing the latest Royal Family news, experts Roya Nikkah and Kate Mansey explained how Princess Charlotte persuaded Prince William to shave off his facial hair, reports the Gloucestershire Live.

Roya said: "When he first grew his beard, Princess Charlotte hated it so much, she burst into tears, and he shaved it off. Which, I think tells you a lot, tells us a lot about how much power Charlotte wields in the Royal household."

Whilst Kate added: "She's calling the shots.”

Roya believes she has noticed a significant similarity between Charlotte and one of her Royal relatives: "They call Queen Camilla 'the lady boss' in private circles, but I think Charlotte's coming for crown."

Kate playfully remarked: "I think we should call Charlotte the baby boss."

The experts believe that Charlotte might be following in Camilla's footsteps

Regarding his decision to change his appearance, the Prince of Wales admitted last week that it was his daughter's reaction that ultimately led him to make the change.

Prince William remarked: "Well, Charlotte didn't like it the first time. I got floods of tears, so I had to shave it off. And then it grew back. I convinced her it was going to be ok."

Despite reports that Charlotte is already having a significant influence in the royal household, some keen observers noticed the Prince wearing a bracelet, which he later confirmed was a gift from his nine-year-old daughter.

"This is a relic, if you like, from a Taylor Swift concert that my daughter decided that she wanted to create a bracelet for. She gave it to me when I came away. So I promised to wear it and try not to lose while I was out here." He said.

Roya recognised the 'sweet' gesture, saying: "It was quite sweet though, there she was telling him to shave off his beard and then he wore that bracelet didn't he, that she made for him, all through the Earthshot week and everyone was very interested to see what that was."
