DEVASTATING HOUSE FIRE
Back in 2020, the I'll Sleep When I'm Dead podcast host took to social media to break her silence after a fire took over the Upstate home that she shared with her husband John Cusimamo.
Photos of the incident showed flames bursting out of the roof of the mansion as firefighters arrived on the scene.
It took the first responders two hours to get the fire under control.
At the time, Rachael's representative Charlie Dougiello said: "Rachael, her husband, and their dog Bella are safe.
"The house is unfortunately damaged and we don’t yet know to what extent."
Their Lake Luzerne mansion erupted in flames while Rachael was preparing dinner for John, with the celebrity chef recounting the terrifying ordeal on her Food Network show.
She documented the damage in a nine-minute clip that was aired during the season 15 premiere of The Rachael Ray show the same year.
HOUSE IN RUINS
"On August 9, my house burned," she began. "15 years of memories. 40 years of notebooks, drawings, thoughts, my life's work.
"Today, we're going to share what's left of our home."
During the clip on her show, Rachael walked through the house as she surveyed the damage, including the charred remains of her and John's bedroom.
Their library and their dressing room could also be seen with mounds of charred clothes during the program in 2020.
