Jason Kelce was called out for slamming a fan’s phone to the ground after a troll called his brother, Travis Kelce, a “f—-t” for dating Taylor Swift.
“[Jason] has to realize that his profile is bigger than it ever was as a player,” Philadelphia radio host Jon Marks wrote on X Saturday alongside a video of the encounter.
“He’s making big $$$ across multiple platforms and his brother might marry the biggest pop star ever. He can’t be spiking people’s phones. He needs security to deal with this s–t.”
Many critics, however, didn’t agree with Marks’ take on the situation, with one fan writing, “Jason doesn’t need security, he can take care of himself.”
“Or he can just spike the guys phone if he’s gonna act like a piece of s–t and we all agree he deserved it,” another added.
“Seems like he can defend himself,” a third chimed in.
The retired Philadelphia Eagles star turned heads on Saturday afternoon when he took matters into his own hands to defend the Kansas City Chiefs star against a homophobic slur while attending “College GameDay” at Penn State’s University Park campus.
“Kelce — how does it feel that your brother is a f—-t for dating Taylor Swift?” the college student shouted at Jason, per several videos posted to social media.
Jason, 36, turned around, grabbed the student’s phone and threw it on the ground.

“Who’s the f—-t now?” Jason responded, per a video obtained by TMZ.
Shortly after, campus security told Page Six that an incident report had not been created.
All eyes have been on the Kelce clan since Travis, 35, and Swift, 34, started dating last summer.
“It’s a lot. There’s a lot of people paying attention at all times, which is positive and negative at times,” Jason shared in September during an appearance on a radio show.
“But I think that she’s built up such a fan base and a contingency and an amount of people that really, really just, like, love her that it’s really cool at the same time.”
Despite the attention being “overwhelming,” Jason has continuously shown support for the “Lover” songstress at her Eras Tour shows, and told reporters he wants to be “supportive” of her relationship with the tight end.
