Ray J has offered an explanation of the rumored fight between himself and Christian Combs, Justin Combs, and Quincy Brown, the sons of disgraced Hip-Hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs. Speaking to Nicki Minaj on Instagram Live, the 43-year-old detailed his side of the story.

“Before you finish their sentence, I will block you. Okay? When I ask a question it’s to be answered. This is a court, sir,” the rapper explained, per Hot 97. ”You’ve been trying to get my attention now you got it. Were you fighting in the club, yes or no?”

“No. We didn’t have a fight. We had a big argument right outside the club,” Ray J detailed. “This time, I think I got loud and [it] got aggressive. But it was the third time this happened so I felt like I needed to stand up for myself.

“Even though I was talking sh*t and we were having a lot of crazy words, I was walking that way to avoid the issue. So that’s what happened, and it’s unfortunate,” the R&B singer elaborated.

He continued to detail that there is seemingly no beef between him and the trio, sharing, “What’s dope is that we all got on the phone, and we talked for about 35 minutes.”

On Wednesday, news broke that, during a Halloween party hosted by Tara Electra and the Combs boys, the young men confronted the “One Wish” performer regarding his recent comments about Diddy, where he questioned, “Do you forgive somebody for taking somebody’s a**?”

According to reports, as Ray J attempted to leave the party with Amber Rose, his manager, David Weintraub, and his crew, were met outside by Christian, Justin, and Quincy. The incident allegedly resulted in the men getting in each other’s faces and even bumping chests.

Chris Brown allegedly made his way over from his car and helped Weintraub break things up, resulting in no punches being thrown and no injuries.
