Mary Cosby and her 21-year-old son, Robert Jr.’s openness around his substance addictions reminded us what reality TV is about … real life. While heartbreaking, many families around the globe know the struggles both Robert Jr. and his mother faced because of his addiction.
The gut-wrenching story was met with love and compassion from Mary’s Real Housewives of Salt Lake City co-stars, fans, and even fellow Real Housewives from around the country.

Let’s start with some good news. Andy Cohen gave an update during the Watch What Happens Live episode that aired immediately after RHOSLC.
“I spoke to Mary tonight, and she wanted me to let you all know that Robert Jr. is doing well.”
