Rebekah Vardy reignites Coleen Rooney feud with furious rant ahead of I'm A Celebrity

Rebekah Vardy has fuelled her feud with Coleen Rooney by blasting the 38-year-old socialite ahead of her stint in ITV’s I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here!

The pair who were once friends publicly came to blows in 2022 over their infamous dispute also known as the Wagatha Christie trial.

Shortly after the identities of the celebrities heading to the Australian jungle were unveiled, Rebekah was named as The Sun’s I’m A Celeb columnist and shared her thoughts about the line-up.

Alongside Coleen, Strictly’s Oti Mabuse, Corrie’s Alan Halsall and McFly singer Danny Jones will all make their debut this Sunday.

After it was reported that Coleen has been paid a reported £1.5 million to star in the series this year, Rebekah admitted she was looking forward to watching her chomp on “jungle nasties.”

When asked if there is anything particular she would like to watch Coleen eat, Rebekah said: “Yeah, penis. Or humble pie.”

Throughout the past seasons of I’m A Celebrity, A-listers have been forced to eat things like kangaroo testicles, camel toes, grubs, and mouse tails during the gruelling challenges.

When probed if a camel testicle would be the worst thing Wayne Rooney's wife Coleen has ever had in her mouth, Rebekah said: “I don't know. You have to look at her husband for that one.”

During her own 2017, she did an eating challenge and feasted on sheep anus, emu foot, and a bull's penis.

Reigniting their feud, the wife of Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy added: “I wasn't going to carry on talking about this, I had no intention of talking about it, but she clearly can't let it go.

“I mean, we've done a book, we've done a documentary, we're going into the jungle. What's next — Dancing On Ice? She's following in my footsteps. I think she always wanted my life.”

In 2022, Rebekah lost the high-profile case having sued Coleen for libel, after she was accused of leaking private information to the press, which Mrs Justice Steyn found was “substantially true”.

In October 2022, the judge ordered Rebekah to pay 90% of Coleen’s legal costs, with an initial payment of £800,000.
