Rebekah Vardy has unleashed a scathing attack on Wayne Rooney just before Coleen's upcoming stint on I'm A Celebrity, branding him a "baked potato" and claiming he's "full of s***".
In what feels like a simmering sequel to the pair's infamous Wagatha Christie saga, which saw Rebekah Vardy saddled with a £1.8 million legal bill after a court defeat, she is back with more criticism ahead of the ITV show's launch tomorrow.
Looking back at the libel trial from two years ago, where the former footballer took the stand, Rebekah ridiculed his testimony in an explosive interview with The Sun. "The best bit to come from Wayne's evidence was him being likened to a 'hot potato'," she said. "I wonder if you cut him open, if he's all cheese and beans - because he's defo full of s***!"
She even took a jibe at the Rooneys' sex life, speculating whether eating a camel testicle on the reality show would be the worst thing Coleen has ever had in her mouth: "I don't know. You have to look at her husband for that one."
Given their high-profile legal face-off that resulted in Rebekah being ordered to foot Coleen's legal expenses, you might think she'd steer clear of this year's edition of I'm a Celebrity. But it appears that's not the case at all, reports the Mirror.
When questioned on whether she'd be tuning into ITV to watch one of the original WAGs tackle the Bushtucker trials, she said: "Absolutely, we'll be watching avidly. Everyone seems to think I have this massive problem with Coleen going into the jungle.
"But do you know what? If you want to fan the fire, the flames are going to get higher. I wasn't going to carry on talking about this, I had no intention of talking about it, but she clearly can't let it go."
Conversely, standing firmly on Coleen's side is her fellow WAG and close friend Annie Kilner. With the launch of the ITV show just around the corner, Annie appears to have found a welcome diversion from personal troubles.
Prompted about who she's backing out of all the celebrities braving this year's show, Annie unhesitatingly declared her support for Coleen, affectionately nicknamed 'Wagatha Christie'.
While enjoying a coffee in Cheshire, Annie was spotted with her youngest child, whom she has with footballer Kyle Walker. And although Coleen and Annie were recently seen together at a gym session, she has openly stated her intention to vote for Coleen in every trial.
It was recently reported that the WAGs formed a friendship over the summer when Rebekah Vardy allegedly formed an alliance with Lauryn Goodman. Rebekah and Coleen locked horns after Wayne Rooney's wife accused Rebekah of leaking stories to The Sun, a claim which Rebekah denied.
The trailer for the ITV show, released ahead of the premiere, suggests that the celebrities will be put through a series of intense new trials.
