Rebel Wilson has legally married Ramona Agruma in Sydney, in a service that was officiated by Rebel's sister Liberty. The couple had previously had a lavish wedding ceremony on the Italian island of Sardinia in September.
Pitch Perfect star Rebel announced she had gotten engaged to fashion and jewellery designer Ramona at Disneyland in February 2023.
In an Instagram post featuring photos of the couple posing by Sydney Harbour, Rebel wrote: “My sister Liberty officiated our legal wedding in Sydney! It meant my 94-year-old grandmother Gar could come which was very special to us to have her included and just felt right to do it in my hometown at this glorious time of the year!”

FILE)The post also featured photos of the pair posing with Rebel’s grandmother and loved ones. Agruma shared similar posts on her Instagram page, writing: “Married officially in Australia to my Australian princess.”
Rebel wore a dusty pink ruffled dress for the occasion while Ramona donned a lacy white dress with cap sleeves. For their Sardinia ceremony, both brides opted for off-the-shoulder white gowns with Rebel styling her hair to the side in long flowy waves, while Ramona had an elegant up-do.

Dave Benett/Getty Images)The Hollywood star has also revealed that there's a huge family rift that has meant she has not yet met Ramona's parents as yet. She has pointed to cultural differences as a reason, saying that not all of Romona's family are as accepting of them. She also states that Ramona's home country of Latvia hasn't progressed with views on same-sex relationships, unlike other parts of Europe.
Speaking to Today.com, Rebel said: "Ramona was born in Latvia, and it's not as LGBTQ+-friendly as other countries are. I just think some people need a bit more time - and some people won't ever come around to it, and that's fine, and that's their decision. There are still parts of the world that aren't as accepting."
However, the couple are planning a trip to Europe soon and Rebel is eager to meet Ramona's family. She added: "I'm really excited to meet them because I know they are very smart. Ramona's mother is a doctor."
The 44-year-old actress explained how their 19-month-old daughter Royce paved the way for the meeting. She said: "Roycie is the real icebreaker - they've been FaceTiming with her."
Rebel announced her relationship with Ramona, a Los Angeles-based fashion and jewellery designer, in June 2022, when she shared on Instagram: “I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince … but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess.”
Rebel has since announced the birth of her daughter Royce Lillian, by surrogate, in November 2022. She told her 11 million Instagram followers: “I can’t even describe the love I have for her, she’s a beautiful miracle!”
