Xiaomi has unveiled its budget segment smartphone in India dubbed as Redmi 14C. The smartphone is equipped with several features including Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, 6.88-inch display, TUV Rheinland certified, and many more. The tech giant claims it to be the first time a smartphone in the Redmi series is coming up with such a large display. The company revealed its new smartphone in an online event.

The novel Redmi 14C 5G is a successor to the Redmi 13C 5G in India. The company has already launched this smartphone in China last year in September. The Redmi 14C 5G boasts a 6.8-inch display along with a 120Hz refresh rate and 450 nits brightness. The display features 1640*720 resolution, Up to 240Hz touch sampling rate, and supports Reading Mode. The company has equipped the display with TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light and TÜV Rheinland Flicker Free.
As far as camera features are concerned, the Redmi 14C 5G comes with a 50MP main dual camera and an 8MP selfie camera. To power the phone, the company has given 5160mAh battery capacity with 18W fast charging and USB Type-C. The company is also giving 33W charger at Rs 1999. It is an IP52 rating. It uns on Xiaomi HyperOS.
It is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in India with up to 12GB RAM and up to 128GB Storage. The smartphone has an Antutu 450,000+ score, X61 5G Modem, and Up to 2.5Gps. It comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack. It measures 171.88mm in height, 77.8mm in width, and 8.22mm in thickness.

Redmi 14C 5G is priced at Rs 999 for the base variant of 4GB+64GB, Rs 10,999 for 4GB+128GB, and 11,999 for the 6GB+128GB. The sale will start from 10 January 2025 on official Xiaomi website, Amazon, and other media partners.
