Over time, ovens collect dirt and grime inside, which you wouldn't want getting into your food.
One TikTok influencer, Chantel Mila, recommended a simple cleaning tip for giving your oven a good clean.
She promised on her social media channel, "Make your oven shine without [any] heavy scrubbing. "
In the video, she makes a magical cleaning solution comprising one cup of baking soda and a third cup of dish soap.
After mixing the baking soda and washing-up liquid together, she applied the solution to the oven and left it to work its magic for the next half hour.
"This mix does the hard work of breaking down tough grease," she assured, demonstrating how she applies the solution in circular motions using a sponge.
Once the solution has been left for 30 minutes, the cleaning guru goes in with a scraper blade to "cut through burnt-on marks".
An oven scraper is available to buy online at Amazon, or in stores such as Curry's, and Lakeland.
"The scraper blade works inside your oven too," the TikTok influencer promised.

After she scrapes away all the burnt-on grease, viewers witness how lovely and clean the oven soon looks.
While some commentators complained that her oven was "slightly soiled" in the first place, others commended the useful cleaning hack.
The cleaning guru made clear that she's been using this cleaning mixture "for years", and it has worked "so well to melt oven grime".
