A has been arrested in Louisiana in connection to the death of a reporter, according to police.

Telemundo reporter Adan Manzano, 27, was in the area to cover the Super Bowl. He was found unresponsive in his hotel room, Kenner Police Department said in a press release sent to Newsweek.

No one has been charged in Manzano's death yet. Officials said the investigation is ongoing.

Security footage from the hotel showed Colbert with Manzano on Wednesday, according to police. Colbert left the room alone later that morning.

Officials said Colbert's criminal record includes allegations of drugging men, theft of currency, fraudulent use of credit and debit cards and other financial crimes.

Telemundo Kansas City said it is cooperating with law enforcement officials as they continue to investigate this "tragic event."

Topeka Public Schools Superintendent Tiffany Anderson said Boyd was a "bright light" in an email sent to families in the district.
