Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Garcelle Beauvais’ oldest son, Oliver Saunders, hashed out a divorce settlement with his ex-wife, Samantha Saunders, In Touch has exclusively learned.
In Touch obtained the settlement executed by Oliver, 38, who has appeared on RHOBH and Vanderpump Rules, and Samantha.
Oliver and Samatha wed on May 23, 2020. They share a son named Oliver Lucas Groves Saunders, Jr., born on February 4, 2020.
The exes agreed to share joint legal and physical custody of their son. Oliver’s gross monthly income was listed as $9,731. Meanwhile, Samantha earns around $11,878 a month.
Due to the parties sharing custody, Samantha should be on the hook for $97 a month in support based on the state’s guidelines. However, Oliver and Samantha agreed that neither party will pay child support. They agreed to split the costs of extracurricular activities.
In addition, the agreement revealed the parties owed $26,291 in past due rent. Oliver agreed to pay 60 percent of the debt and Samantha said she would pay 40 percent.
The deal said Oliver paid $15,774 and Samantha covered $10,516. Additionally, the deal said neither party would pay spousal support, Samatha’s maiden name would be restored and both parties would pay their own legal fees.
Per their agreement, Oliver and Samantha also agreed not to trash talk the other in front of their son. “The parents agree that neither shall disparage the other in the presence of the child, nor shall either make any comment that would demean the other parent in the eyes of the child,” the deal read. Oliver filed for divorce on September 14, 2022.
He demanded primary physical custody of his child. He also proposed a plan where they shared legal custody.
The petition read, “[Oliver] is a fit and proper person to be awarded primary physical custody of the minor child subject to a reasonable visitation for [Samantha].”
The filing added, “During the course of said marriage, the tastes, mental disposition, views, likes and dislikes of [Oliver] and [Samantha] have become so widely divergent that the parties have become incompatible in marriage to such an extent that it is impossible for them to live together as husband and wife and that the incompatibility between them is so great there is no possibility of reconciliation.”
In response, Samantha initially asked the court to award her joint legal and physical custody.
In June 2024, Oliver announced he was expecting a new child with his girlfriend, Shantei Paranada. The couple shared they were expecting a “baby girl.”
On social media, Oliver wrote, “I love you with all my heart and I can’t wait for our child to be born! You make me the happiest i’ve ever been!!! We just getting started.”
As In Touch previously reported, Garcelle, 57, settled her own divorce from ex-husband Mike Nilon in 2011.
Garcelle, who shares two younger sons with Mike, was awarded a $250,000 lump sum to settle all spousal support claims and $5,000 per month in child support. Garcelle and Mike wed on May 12, 2001.
The actress filed for divorce on May 10, 2010. On top of the support, Garcelle was awarded a 2010 Land Rover and all rights to her residuals, her clothing collection and all jewelry in her possession.
