Ryan Boyajian was asked questions about his job, his relationship with Jennifer Pedranti, and his legal drama on Thursday night’s Watch What Happens Live.

As he sat in the audience during Jennifer’s appearance, the Real Housewives of Orange County cast member explained what he does for work, shared his past ties to Jo De La Rosa, 44, and opened up about being tied to a $16 million lawsuit involving Los Angeles Dodgers player Shohei Ohtani, 30.

“My job hasn’t changed I’ve been in the real estate/mortgage/finance world for the last 20-plus years. I’ve done real estate development for the last seven years solid so some of the commentary and questions Jen and I have a good time with,” Ryan admitted on the October 31 episode of WWHL.

While the cast has expressed concern for Jennifer, 47, and her future with Ryan, who some have suspected will ultimately hurt her and leave her financially stranded, Ryan insisted that he and Jennifer are stable.

“Jenn and I live under our roof and in our relationship. So we appreciate the concern but we are in great shape,” he stated.

As for his ties to Jo, Ryan revealed Jo worked for him as his assistant 20 years ago.

“Jo’s first season of filming, she was my assistant and she tried to get the approval to film and Irvine Company, back then, wouldn’t let her film but she was on the show,” he shared, adding that he did [know her former fiance, Slade Smiley].”

Ryan also confirmed that he and Jo “never” dated as Andy Cohen, 56, brought up the MLB scandal and how Ryan gained immunity from the case.

“This happened to Jen and I over a year ago for my closest friend, and him and his family are going through something very real,” Ryan explained. “I’m proud of him for taking full ownership and responsibility but when it came to light, for Jen and I, from a media standpoint, it was definitely tough.”

“It rocked our world because we’d already been, I’d already gone through, let’s call it the two different conversations I’ve had regarding my friend Matt, and then from there, six months later, it hit the news for Jen and I,” he added.

The Real Housewives of Orange County season 18 reunion begins Thursday, November 7, at 9/8c on Bravo.
