RHONJ Was Completely Recast Before Production Was Put On Pause: Bravo Is “Still Deciding” How To Move Forward

Real Housewives of New Jersey was set to proceed with a new cast for season 15 … before the entire production was halted.

OK Magazine reported, “Bravo offered an entire new cast spots on the show. Then, [they] put the entire production on pause.”

RHONJ recasting RUMOR:

“Bravo ended up not being sure what direction they wanted to take the show in, so they put the new women on pause, as well as the old women.”

Things are definitely still up in the air even to this date. Bravo is “still deciding” what they want to do. Currently, they have “no plans to film anything for RHONJ until at least December 2025.”

“The old cast could come back in some capacity. Or, it could be an entire new cast,” they noted. “Truly no decisions have been made.”

Let’s talk about the Real Housewives of New York reboot …

Considering the comments that flood online spaces regarding the RHONY reboot cast, many think production will – at least – keep some of the original RHONJ cast members.

Bravo TV had many fans refuse to watch the RHONY reboot out of loyalty to the OGs. Others [myself included] enjoyed the new cast. That was until they started to self-produce … which is something the RHONY Legacy cast didn’t do.

Production being concerned about completely recasting RHONJ makes sense. Many fans agree the RHONY reboot cast found itself in a sophomore slump and have even stopped watching.
