Wendy Osefo appeared on Sunday night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, where she offered an update on her relationship with Eddie Osefo‘s family and reacted to her mom confronting Mia Thornton.
While also sharing her thoughts on Stacey Rusch‘s tense moments with her boyfriend, Thomas Anthony “TJ” Jones, shading Ashley Darby‘s singing, and doing her best to say three nice things about Gizelle Bryant‘s fashion, the Real Housewives of Potomac star named the cast member she wished did not attend her birthday getaway and more.
“It’s been really good. It’s so refreshing. We recently went to one of his nephew’s birthday parties so his parents were there and I saw his sister. So it’s good. We’re moving together as a familial unit,” Wendy revealed of her relationship with her spouse’s family on the December 1 episode of WWHL.
Looking back on Wendy’s birthday trip, both Mia, who was also appearing on WWHL, and Wendy addressed Mia’s drama with Wendy’s mom.
“I promised Wendy that I was gonna have a conversation with her mom. I apologized. I was a little shocked that she was more so upset that I called her a bird versus throwing a drink in her daughter’s face,” Mia shared.
“I think she was upset about both because between her and you, you’re the bird,” Wendy clapped back.
As for TJ mouthing out to Stacey, Wendy didn’t like it.
“I felt Stacey was there to have fun and to enjoy. And I think that anything he wanted to say to her could’ve waited [until] after the party,” she reasoned, adding, “It sort of messed up the vibe.”
Moving on to Ashley’s latest single, “Healing and Thriving,” Wendy didn’t hold back.
“She has no business singing. Ever,” she declared.
Although Wendy was clearly unimpressed with Ashley, she did say a few kind things about Gizelle’s wardrobe.
”She’s not color blind. She doesn’t do too much with her hair so it’s never a miss. [And] she stays within her comfort zone,” she pointed out.
Later, on the WWHL: After Show, Wendy admitted that if she could go back in time, she would’ve left Jacqueline Blake out of her birthday trip.
“I had such a good time and I know people are probably like, ‘There was so much drama, why did you have a good time?’ It was just because for me I was at peace and the ladies were celebrating me outside of the drama. However, if I could kick anybody off of the trip it would be Jacqueline,” she noted.
And even Mia agreed.
“Jacqueline’s my girl. I love her. But I can see why Wendy said Jacqueline’s got to go,” she admitted.
Looking back on her and Gizelle’s coming together, Wendy denied that Robyn Dixon‘s exit from RHOP was a factor.
“I wouldn’t say that because at the end of the day, Gizelle and I are two grown women and we, I can’t speak for her, but for me, I don’t let who I’m friends with dictate my relationships with the other women,” she explained. “So I moved the way I moved this season because I’m chapter 40. It’s a new page in my life, and I don’t give a crap about drama. I think we just moved how we moved because life has been different for both of us and we dealt with it that way.”
Then, when a fan asked about how the dynamic between them would progress as the season continued, Mia said she felt like they were “good” as Wendy signaled to upcoming drama.
“Mia did a thing, and I had to hold her accountable for it, but outside of that, I think we’re good. Mia’s always doing a thing,” Wendy revealed.
Also on the WWHL: After Show, Eddie was asked about his weed business.
“It’s booming. I have edibles now. I’m excited,” he shared.
The Real Housewives of Potomac season nine airs Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.
