Telly legends Richard and Judy are gearing up for a sensational reunion, years after they last graced our screens together. The dynamic duo, who tied the knot in 1986, became household names with their stints on This Morning and their own show, Richard and Judy.
While Judy has taken a step back from the limelight, Richard's been stealing the show on Good Morning Britain, but it looks like a comeback for the entrepreneurial duo could now be on the cards.
According to reports, Richard and Judy might just be diving into the world of lingerie. They've gone and trademarked their names, ready to sling everything from perfumes and makeup to some potentially saucy merch, reports the Mirror.
The Intellectual Property Office let slip the application this week. This isn't their first rodeo either; they first slapped their names on a trademark back in 2000 and had another go last December.
It's all possibly sparked by Judy's infamous wardrobe malfunction at the National Television Awards in 2000, where her bra made a surprise appearance.
"Judy's bra flash was perhaps one of the outstanding moments of their career and may have inspired the couple to consider underwear as an option - and clearly they still think so," a source spilled to the Sun.
"But it's not the only product they'll be able to put their name on and they could make a mint."
Richard and Judy first crossed paths in 1982 while toiling away on different programmes at Granada Television. Despite being hitched to other halves at that time, sparks flew upon their meeting.
"I thought he looked nice. Tall, handsome and all that but I thought the suit was a bit flash. Then, because he was a newbie, I was assigned the job of looking after him," is what Judy previously said about her initial impressions of Richard.
The pair didn't waste time ditching their then-spouses and tied the knot themselves four years on in a Manchester ceremony. Richard's never shied away from confessing his own misdemeanours during his first stroll down the aisle.
Having wed Lynda Hooley at the tender age of 21, he's since declared it a blunder and has candidly discussed his cheating ways including how many times he was unfaithful.
Chatting to the Mirror, Richard let slip: "Oh lots, numerous, probably in the space of about five years, about 10."
He elaborated, saying: "Although the marriage had some very happy moments, there was a lot of negativity in it. I'm not using that as an excuse. It's wrong to have affairs, but I was a very young man."
Richard Madeley's daughter Chloe has dished the dirt on her parents' long-lasting marriage to Judy, revealing their cheeky secret. Speaking to Closer Magazine, she quipped: "The secret to them having such a long marriage is to not get divorced!"
She added some serious insight too, saying: "They've been together over 40 years and during that time there have been periods where they really struggled, but they kept going and stayed together. I don't think it was ever bad enough for them to split."
Chloe also opened up about her own home life, including how she's handling co-parenting with her ex-hubby James Haskell.
