Rosie O’Donnell’s daughter Chelsea O’Donnell was back behind bars after being accused of violating a deal where she agreed to enter a 28-day treatment program, In Touch can exclusively report.
According to court documents obtained by In Touch, on December 16, an arrest/bench warrant for Chelsea was signed by a Wisconsin judge. The court claimed Chelsea had failed to appear for a court hearing on December 16 and was in violation of a “furlough order” entered on December 9.
As In Touch first reported, earlier this month, Chelsea and prosecutors worked out the “furlough” agreement, which allowed her to leave jail to enter the residential treatment program.
Per the deal, Chelsea was to return to jail once she finished the program and her $7,500 bond would be reinstated.
Records show that despite missing her December 16 court hearing, Chelsea was booked back into the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office on the same day.
Chelsea posed for a new mug shot, obtained by In Touch.
A rep for the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office tells In Touch that Chelsea’s charge was listed as “bond revoked per judge.” She has yet to be released.
As In Touch first reported, in the past three months, Chelsea has posed for four different mug shots. Rosie’s daughter’s legal issues started when she was first arrested on September 10.
Police responded to a 911 call from Chelsea and her boyfriend Jacob Nelund’s home.
Officers said they found meth on Chelsea. The officers said they went inside the couple’s home to discover it was filled with garbage, drugs, needles and various other paraphernalia.
Chelsea and Jacob’s 11-month-old son, Atlas, was found in a room near a meth pipe.
The report read, “Inside the bedroom belonging to Chelsea, where [Atlas] was initially found, there was a meth pipe, a gem bag with methamphetamine inside, a marijuana grinder, and another container with marijuana shake in it.”
Another officer described the scene in the report as “disgusting.”
He said, “The inside of the house was disgusting; throughout the house I saw rotten food, dirty moldy dishes, milk that stunk so bad it almost made me puke, dirty diapers, used female hygiene products, unclean underwear with physics [sic: feces] and blood stains, and used razor blades on the floor. The living conditions in the house were horrible.”
Chelsea was arrested on charges of child neglect and drug possession. She plead not guilty to the charges.
Rosie’s daughter was released on bond. However, she was arrested again on October 11. Police claim they found meth and various pills on Chelsea during a traffic stop. Chelsea spent a couple weeks behind bars on new drug charges before being released on bond in early November.
Her third arrest came on November 18. Chelsea was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor resisting an officer, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and several other charges.
The police said they pulled over a car that Chelsea was a passenger in. Officers said they found a meth pipe with residue on Chelsea.
During questioning, Chelsea told police she had plans to enter an intensive outpatient treatment facility. She also said she wanted to get clean. Chelsea told police she did not have any drugs on her body. Chelsea was taken to the jail and a search was conducted. The report said officers found meth and various pills in a bottle inside Chelsea.
Rosie, 62, released a statement to In Touch following Chelsea’s first two arrests. “Sadly, this is not new for our family – Chelsea has struggled with drug addiction for a decade – we are all hopeful she will find her way out of this deadly disease,” the O’Donnell family said. Chelsea has three other children aside from Atlas. She shares Skylar Rose, Riley and Avery Lynn with her ex, Jacob Bourassa.
As In Touch first reported, Jacob Bourassa rushed to court after Chelsea’s first arrest.
