Rosie O’Donnell’s adopted daughter Chelsea O’Donnell was released from jail following her third arrest for drugs in two months and will now enter treatment, In Touch can exclusively report.

According to court documents obtained by In Touch, Chelsea, 27, and prosecutors worked out a deal to allow her to leave jail to complete a residential treatment program. Chelsea’s lawyer said the program is expected to last 28 days.

Per the deal with prosecutors, once Chelsea has finished the program, her prior bond will be reinstated, and she will return directly to the Marinette County jail.

The prior bond had been set at $7,500 at a hearing on December 4. The deal said Chelsea would leave jail on December 9.

Chelsea was to be picked up and stay with her biological mother, listed as “D.M.” in the filing, until she “physically arrives at residential AODA treatment.”

Chelsea’s biological mother’s name is Deanna Micoley.

The judge signed off on the request on December 9.

On Thursday, December 12, Chelsea posted a series of photos with her family in Wisconsin, including one photo with a woman who appears to be Deanna. Chelsea captioned one photo, “My sister and I at my brother’s Christmas concert.”

As In Touch first reported, Chelsea has had a string of arrests since September. The first arrest took place on September 10 when cops arrested her for drug possession, child neglect and various other charges.

According to a police report, officers said Chelsea had a meth pipe and meth — along with pills — on her.

The police said that Chelsea and her boyfriend Jacob Nelund’s home was filled with drugs, garbage and needles. The police said Chelsea and Jacob’s then 11-month-old son Atlas was found in a room near a meth pipe.

The report read, “Inside the bedroom belonging to Chelsea, where [Atlas] was initially found, there was a meth pipe, a gem bag with methamphetamine inside, a marijuana grinder, and another container with marijuana shake in it.”

Another officer wrote, “Inside the bedroom that appeared to be designated as [the child’s] room, there were numerous used hypodermic needles. Several of them were loaded with blood. There were old apples, garbage, random tools, and butane bottles sitting on the floor, all mixed with the clothing belonging to [the child].”

Chelsea was released on bond. She pleaded not guilty to the charges.

On October 11, days after her release, Chelsea was arrested again for meth possession. Police found drugs on her during a traffic stop. She was charged with several drug charges. Chelsea spent weeks behind bars before being released in early November.

Then, on November 18, Rosie’s daughter was taken into custody for a third time after cops found meth and pills on her.

Rosie, 62, told In Touch following Chelsea’s first two arrests, “Sadly, this is not new for our family – Chelsea has struggled with drug addiction for a decade – we are all hopeful she will find her way out of this deadly disease.”

Rosie and her ex-wife Kelli Carpenter adopted Chelsea as a baby.

Chelsea and Rosie have had a rocky relationship over the years.

Chelsea moved out of Rosie’s home when she turned 18 and to Wisconsin where Deanna lives. Chelsea has four children: daughter Skylar Rose, born in December 2018, daughter Riley, born January 2021, daughter Avery Lynn, born in February 2022, who she had with her ex Jacob Bourassa. She had her son Atlas in October 2023.
