Ross Lynch wants everyone to know he’s single! The actor confirmed his breakup with his former Chilling Adventures of Sabrina costar Jaz Sinclair in 2024, but has he dated anyone since? Keep reading for a breakdown into his love life:
During an October 2024 interview with Capitol Buzz, the former Disney Channel star addressed the “wildest rumor” he’d ever heard about himself, explaining that many people, even his own friends, think he’s in a relationship. He then confirmed he “definitely” does not have a girlfriend.
In 2021, Ross and Jaz confirmed their relationship on Instagram, and often shared their love for one another on social media.
“Jaz and I were hanging out on set. We met and quickly became the best of friends, and the writers on the show saw that and they decided that they wanted to write for it because you can’t really fake chemistry,” the singer explained during an interview with GQ in June 2021. “It was pretty magnetic. We couldn’t get enough of each other.”
The former Netflix stars first sparked romance rumors in December 2018, but kept things private at first. Then, the Austin and Ally alum was asked about their relationship during an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
“Me and Jaz, and a few other of the actors [on Sabrina] really just hit it off, and we would spend every day together,” he gushed in January 2019. “So, Jaz is like, my closest friend right now. I’m the favorite’s favorite, that’s what we always say … because she’s everyone else’s favorite, but if I’m her favorite, then it’s like, ‘OK cool. I can deal with that.'”
Months later, the actress publicly shared her love for her boyfriend when celebrating his birthday.
“I never knew that love was a thing that chooses you until you wandered into my life,” Jaz wrote in an Instagram caption from December 2020. “You’re my best friend and favorite person. My smile is it’s brightest when you’re close, my laugh the loudest and my heart the fullest. I feel so loved, heard and seen by you and it’s a pleasure getting to have so much damn fun together every day. You are such a bright spark in this world and I love getting to learn from you and shine with you.”
