The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department on Friday imposed a mandatory curfew in zones affected by wildfires.
The curfew order will cover the Pacific Palisades and Eaton fire areas, and it will run from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. local time.
"You cannot be in these affected areas. If you are, you are subject to arrest," Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna said during a press conference. "We're doing it to protect the structures, the houses that people have left because we ordered them to leave."
This is a developing story and will be updated when more information becomes available.
