Ruth Langsford says Loose Women won't be on due to the Budget

TV personality Ruth Langsford has seemingly made a statement about her life post-split from Eamonn Holmes, through a recent social media post.

The Loose Women panellist, announced the end of her marriage to former This Morning co-host Eamonn, in May after almost two decades together.

Despite the split, Ruth is believed to still be wearing her wedding ring.

In a recent post, she hinted at being “happy” following her separation from Eamonn, who is rumoured to have moved on with a new relationship.

However, the ITV star seemed to throw a subtle jab at the 64-year-old as she shared a snap of some vegetables on Instagram.

Ruth posted a picture of her lunch - tomatoes, avocados, and olives on her stories alongside a mug with “happy” written on it, reports the Mirror.

The post, accompanied by the song Brunch Time by Hello EMC, was simply captioned: “Yum.”

This comes after Ruth confirmed this week that she would be heading to Australia to support her friend and Loose Women co-star Jane Moore, who's currently participating in I'm A Celebrity.

She is expected to grace the I'm A Celebrity... Unpacked, with hosts Joel Dommett, Kemi Rodgers and Sam Thompson on the hit ITV companion show.

According to a source via The Sun: “It's been a tough year for Ruth and she's been putting her best foot forward, she's thrilled to have been asked to appear on the spin-off show and fly to Australia ahead of Christmas.

“She's rooting for Jane and can't wait to give her opinion on how she is getting on.”

Moreover, the insider suggested that Ruth's presence is just what the new show format needs: “The production team are particularly excited they have landed Ruth to join them as they think she'll be amazing and give the new format a boost.”

Confirming her upcoming adventure, Ruth took to social media and shared a snippet of her travel preparations for her trip Down Under and said: “So I'm just packing for Australia and I wanted to show you some of my travel essentials.”
