Rylan Clark's return to BBC Radio 2 was nothing short of sensational as he stepped back into the limelight after his panto stint for some holiday fun. On air, he effortlessly stirred up the conversation with a spot of personal gossip.

During the exchange, sparked by the track Romeo by Basement Jaxx, Rylan couldn't resist delving into co-host Sally Boazman's romantic escapades.

"It's up to me to know that and for you to find out," Sally teased Rylan, igniting a playful banter between them. Rylan, ever curious, pressed on: "Well, I'm trying to find out! Have you got a Romeo on the go? I haven't! Have you got one for me? That's what I'm more interested in."

Sally laughed it off and set boundaries, saying: "Yours and mine wouldn't match, I don't think, you're not having mine anyway!" However, Rylan slyly deduced she had her own love interests, boasting: "Oh, so she has got a Romeo on the go! See, honestly, I should be like an interrogator."

Embracing the notion of seeking new romance, Rylan playfully remarked: "If you've got anyone for me, just let me know, yeah? I'm in that mood, you know like new year, I wish I had a little texter," reports the Daily Star.

Its a mystery why the heartthrob, who parted ways with Dan Neal back in 2021, remains single, prompting Sally to wonder aloud: "Why can you not find yourself a lovely, lovely other half? Because you're so lovely!"

Never one to hold back, Rylan joked about his quest for love, saying: "I don't know where they are! I smell nice, I try my hardest..." Fortunately, Sally was quick to offer words of encouragement: "You look great, you've got fantastic clothes."

He quipped about his financial status on air, jesting: "I've got a couple of quid, what is wrong with me? " He humorously pondered over his signature bright smile, musing, "Maybe they're frightened of the teeth!" His friend Sally offered words of reassurance, remarking: "The mind boggles, but [the teeth] are part of you now, we're all used to them now."

Amidst the buzz of Rylan's single life post-divorce, speculation swirled around a potential romance with Rob Rinder, fuelled by their close rapport while presenting The Grand Tour.

Their camaraderie on the BBC Two programme led fans to suspect more than friendship, especially when Rylan acknowledged they act "like a married couple".

However, during an appearance on the Table Manners podcast with Jessie and Lennie Ware, Rylan dispelled the rumours surrounding his bond with Rinder, saying with a chuckle: "I find it funny because I adore him, but we are like a married couple; we row all the time and we don't have sex."

Rylan has opened up about his bond with Rob before, telling the Sunday Times: "We do, we love each other."

But admitted their friendship is strictly platonic.
