Sacramento Kings Owner Wears “Not Like Us” Shirt After Drake and DeMar DeRozan Trade Barbs

Vivek Ranadive showed his support for DeMar DeRozan amid his beef with Drake.

The Sacramento Kings owner wore a black t-shirt emblazoned with the phrase, “They Not Like Us” when the Toronto Raptors played the Kings at Sacramento’s Golden One Center on Wednesday night.

The very clear message follows comments Drizzy made on Saturday during the Raptors’ game against the Kings in Toronto, when asked if the team should retire DeRozan's jersey. "If you ever put up a DeRozan banner, I’ll go up there and pull it down myself,” he said, dissing DeRozan while speaking to Raptors commentators midgame.

During the game, the 6 God also appeared to call DeMar a “goof” and later, a “pussy” when the Kings forward missed a game-winning shot.

DeRozan addressed Drake’s jersey comments in the post-game conference, saying Drake has “a long way to climb to take it down.” DeRozan later posted a clip from the movie Friday, featuring the character Deebo, which is also DeRozan’s nickname. The video suggested that Drake only acts tough when others aren’t around.

The pair were once close when DeMar played for the Raptors; however, their relationship soured after DeRozan seemingly picked Lamar’s side in the rappers’ feud. Not only did the former Raptor appear in Dot’s “Not Like Us” music video, but he also danced onstage alongside Kenny at “The Pop Out” concert. Though DeRozan played for Toronto for nine seasons, he was born and raised in Compton.
