On the Safety Korea website, a battery with model number EB-BG766GBY was spotted. It is mentioned on the website that the battery will have a rated capacity of 4,265mAh and a typical capacity of 4,350mAh. Apart from that, a report by Galaxy Club said that the mentioned battery is going to be used in the Samsung Galaxy XCover 8 Pro. One thing which is clear as of now is that the smartphone is getting a bigger battery than its predecessor.
The Samsung Galaxy XCover 8 Pro will carry model number SM-G766B. Expectations are that the smartphone will be launched somewhere around mid-2025. All other details regarding the smartphone are still under wraps. There is a chance that we will learn more about the device once the brand is done with the Galaxy S25 series launch. Until then, we cannot expect a lot of information related to the Samsung Galaxy XCover 8 Pro officially.
As for its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy XCover 7 made a debut in the Indian market with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
