Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE Coming in 2025: Here’s What to Expect

1 day ago 2

There are several leaks coming to the forefront about Samsung’s planning to launch Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE in 2025. The upcoming smartphone will be the successor to the Galaxy Z Flip 6 launched in July 2024. The purported device will not be the only device that the company is planning to unveil. It could come alongside a new model which will be cheaper for the buyers.

What to Expect from Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE:

Analyst and CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC), Ross Young posted on X about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. As per post, the device could debut in 2025 as part of the next-generation Galaxy foldables. As per Ross, the Z Flip 7 FE could feature the same display as the Flip 7. However, the camera and chipset will be different from the Flip 7.

Those hoping for a Z Flip 7 FE should be excited. It looks like a Samsung FE clamshell is finally coming in 2025.

Rumors suggest that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE will be equipped with an Exynos 2400 processor, which is the same chipset used in Galaxy S24 series. To recall, FE models are cheaper and affordable versions of flagship models. So adding a powerful processor like Exynos 2400 could bring a high-powered smartphone in the plates. However, it is worth noting that by the time Z Flip 7 FE would launch, the Exynos 2400 will be a year old.

As per Ross Young, the clamshell-style foldable handset is expected to sports a similar display as its flagship counterpart. However, another leak from X user Jukanlosreve claims that Samsung could also unveil this upcoming smartphone with a newer Exynos 2500 that’s likely to come out in the second half of 2025.

As far as price is concerned, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 has a starting price of Rs 109,999 in India. However, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 costs Rs 1,64,999. If reports are to be believed, the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE will be less than this amount only if it’s launched with Exynos 2400 and not upcoming Exynos 2500.
