“Well, it’s only been three days, but so far, it’s great,” she said of turning 40. "You also don’t care what anybody thinks, which is so liberating."

As for what her husband, Colin Jost, did for the occasion, she explained, "He's very good at gift-giving. He always buys beautiful jewelry."

"He threw me a humongous bash this year, it was a surprise. And I had all the martinis for everyone and I can’t wait to see the photos so I can remember the night," she said. "So many of my friends and colleagues came from all over the place and it was magical. And he put it all together!"

“He's a very, very, very great guy. I’m extremely lucky. He’s a kind person and he’s hilarious and thoughtful and loving. He's a great dad and I love him," she continued, before adding, "But he’s also got his naughty side. He keeps it interesting.”
