FANS of the Scissor Sisters are thrilled the band are making a HUGE comeback.

The Sun exclusively revealed how Jake Shears and his famous noughties band are reuniting after 12 years for a huge UK tour in 2025. Here's how to get a ticket.

The Scissor Scissors will hit the road in 2025, and will be taking their show across Britain.

Returning to the band for tour will be Jake Shears, Babydaddy Hoffman, and Del Marquis.

Ana Matronic, who was also a singer in the band, has decided not to take part.

But the remaining members of the group - who have no plans to release any new music - have said they will honour her on stage.

During their heyday in the early noughties, the Scissor Sisters released four albums.

Their hits included Laura, Take Your Mama, Filthy/Gorgeous, Comfortably Numb and their No1 smash I Don’t Feel Like Dancin’.

Lead singer, Jake has released two solo albums and had a starring role in Cabaret in London’s West End, while Ana went on to become a radio presenter and DJ.

The big comeback

Announcing the tour, the Scissor Sisters said: “Exciting news, for the first time in over a decade, we will come together again, live next May across the UK and Ireland.

“And for the first time ever, our debut album Scissor Sisters will be performed in full in celebration of its 20th anniversary – alongside all the other Scissor hits from along the way.”

The announcement comes 20 years after they topped the UK charts with their self-titled debut album.

The Scissor Sisters will stop at all of the UK's big arenas including London’s O2 and Manchester’s Co-op Live.

The tour will kick off at Nottingham's Motorpoint Arena on May 16, 2025, and end in Dublin's 3Arena on May 28, 2025.

Tickets for the Scissor Sisters tour go on general sale on Ticketmaster from 10am on November 8, 2024.

However, fans can sign up for presale tickets.

This will take place from 10am on November 6, 2024.

Those lucky enough to be able to take part in the presale, will be emailed details on how to access it.

An O2 Priority presale will also take place from 9:30am on November 6, 2024 ,for O2 and Virgin Media customers.

This can be accessed through the O2 mobile app or at priority.o2.co.uk.

Ticket prices

When tickets go on sale, there will be multiple tiers of tickets from standard, to VIP experiences.

Prices for regular tickets will range from £49.95 to £166.30.

The exact cost of each type of ticket is yet to be revealed.
