Celeste O'Connor, who starred as Lucky Domingo in Ghostbusters: Afterlife, is the latest addition to the cast of Scream 7.

As confirmed by Deadline, O'Connor is set to feature alongside the returning Neve Campbell (Sidney Prescott), as well as Isabel May, who reportedly plays the as-yet-unnamed daughter of Prescott.

O'Connor's role has yet to be revealed. Principal filming is still months away, but the cast for the seventh Scream movie is slowly taking shape.

The Scream series dates back to 1996. The meta slasher movie tears down well-established horror tropes in its story of teenager Sidney Prescott who's tormented by a masked killer after receiving a mysterious phone call.

There are a few changes since 2023's Scream VI, however. Where Tyler Gillett and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin were on co-directing duties, Scream 7 is directed by Kevin Williamson. Meanwhile, both Jenna Ortega and Melissa Barrera have since left the cast, so they won't be appearing in the sequel.

As for O'Connor, 2021's Ghostbusters: Afterlife was her breakout role. She played Lucky Domingo, a rebellious teenager unwittingly caught up in supernatural chaos. O'Connor reprised her role in 2024's Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. That year she also featured in Madame Web as Mattie Franklin.

With Scream 6 pulling the series' biggest box office with $162m, O'Connor's now on board with another winning franchise.
