Seth Rollins Believes NFL MVP Josh Allen Would Make the Best WWE Superstar

4 hours ago 8

WWE Superstar Seth "Freakin" Rollins freakin' loves football.

The multi-time world champion is an avid Chicago Bears fan, having gone viral this past season for getting thrown out of the stands and onto the field at the Bears vs. Indianapolis Colts game.

Needless to say, whenever Rollins has an interview, he will be asked about football and his Bears.

Such was the case on a recent episode of the Up & Adams Show with Kay Adams. Rollins discussed why he preferred Caleb Williams of Rookie of the Year Jayden Daniels, the Bears' new head coach Ben Johnson, and which NFL quarterback he believed would make the best professional wrestler.

For Rollins, the answer was simple: NFL MVP Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills.

"Overall? Probably Josh Allen," Rollins said. "You wouldn't expect that but he's tough. He's tough, man. He's not afraid to take a hit. He gets in there. He will lowe his helmet.

"He's one of those quarterbacks that's like, 'You want me to slide? I'm not sliding. You want me to go out of bounds? I'm not going out of bounds. I want the action. I want it all.'

"And he's a big meaty boy. He can take it."

That being said, Rollins noted that Allen would have to get a bit more stern in his disposition and let life wear him down a bit.

After his recent success, there's no doubt that WWE would love to work with Allen. After all, they have been known to work with football players in the past.

At WrestleMania 40, Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson of the Philadelphia Eagles made an appearance to help Rey Mysterio and Andrade defeat Santos Escobar and "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio.

Additionally, athletes from multiple sports have been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, including Pete Rose, Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson, and Bob Uecker.

Multiple professional wrestlers have also started their careers in the NFL or college football, including Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Goldberg, Roman Reigns, Ron Simmons, Vader, and Baron Corbin.

While Allen isn't necessarily built like these Superstars, he definitely is more than fit enough to make a special appearance in a match or during a show.
