Colorado Buffalos quarterback and NFL dynasty member Shedeur Sanders has been spotted with a pair of custom New York Giants cleats, sparking rumors that he's hoping (or even expecting) to be drafted by the team.

In the days leading up to yesterday's Alamo Bowl (where the BYU Cougars beat the Buffalos 36-14), Sanders had hinted that his cleats would offer a sneak peek at where he expected to land in the NFL.

In particular, Sanders told his brother Shilo in a videoed practice (as seen above), "We know where we're going, baby...We know where we're going, baby. You'll see them in the cleats later on this week."

Fast forward to last night, when the media spotted a pair of custom cleats in Sanders' locked. According to Nomad Customs (per Fox News), the Buffalos QB had the red and blue Giants cleats made for him, strongly indicating his preference for the 2025 draft.

The 2-13 Giants currently have the worst record in the 2024 NFL season and, accordingly, the rights to the #1 draft pick in 2025. As one of the most hyped talents in college football, Sanders is a prime contender to be first in the upcoming draft, so the chances that he'll be snapped up by the Giants are strong.

It also doesn't hurt that Sanders has been dropping repeated hints that he wants or expects to be drafted by the Giants in recent months.

During a November episode of his podcast "2Legendary," Sanders and his teammate Drelon Miller discussed the New York Giants' draft plans. As Miller suggested that the Giants should draft him, Sanders laughed in what was speculated to be agreement.

Several weeks ago Sanders went viral when he was spotted tossing a football with Giants rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers in New York. A few days after that, NFL legend, Buffalos coach, and Sanders patriarch Deion Sanders predicted that the Giants would draft Shedeur if they clinch the #1 pick.

Despite all that, there is no guarantee that Sanders will be the #1 pick for 2025. While the Colorado QB's odds are favored, Miami Hurricanes QB Cam Ward is close behind him, and Heisman Trophy winner and Buffalos cornerback Travis Hunter rounds out the top three.

But if Sanders ends up not getting drafted by the Giants, at least he'll still have a cool pair of cleats.
